IOS58 is required for USB 2.0 support in homebrew applications and is the default IOS used by HBC 1.0.8+. This process does not involve any system-critical parts of the system, and is completely safe. IOS58 Installer does one thing, and one thing only - download and install IOS58 from the Nintendo update servers. Attempting to use this homebrew on the Wii Mini could brick the system because of hardware differences. This homebrew can't be used on the Wii Mini. It is recommended to have a NAND backup with either BootMii as boot2 or Priiloader with BootMii as IOS installed before proceeding with the usage of this application. This homebrew application makes permanent changes to the Wii's NAND, thus, this application should be used with caution.
